ABOUT
Heather Brown (b. 1985, Kansas City, Missouri) is an award-winning artist and filmmaker whose camera skills have taken her to many places. She works in Akita, Japan, and Los Angeles, California as a Local 600 camera operator on set for various commercial, television, and movie productions.
She graduated from the Kansas City Art Institute completing a bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, with an emphasis in film and photography where she was a recipient of the Princess Grace Award.
Her work continues to explore themes surrounding communication, language, and time.
